অনলাইন ডেস্ক: পাবনার ঈশ্বরদীতে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় দুইজন নিহত হয়েছেন। এ ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন আরো তিনজন। শনিবার রাত সাড়ে নয়টার দিকে পাবনা-ঈশ্বরদী মহাসড়কের দাশুড়িয়া এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
নিহতরা হলেন- পাবনা পৌর সদরের কুঠিপাড়া এলাকার মৃত হাকিম শেখের ছেলে জাহাঙ্গীর হোসেন (৫৮) ও একই এলাকার মৃত আবুল হোসেন সরকারের ছেলে মনোয়ার হোসেন রঞ্জু (৫৫)।
ঈশ্বরদী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. আসাদুজ্জামান এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে জানান, লোরেট ট্রাক্টর ভেকু বহনকারী একটি গাড়ি পাবনা থেকে দাশুড়িয়া দিকে যাবার সময় নষ্ট অবস্থায় রাস্তার বাম পাশে দাঁড়ানো ছিল। ঘটনার সময় ৫ জন যাত্রীসহ একটি মাইক্রো বাস ঈশ্বরদীর দিকে যাবার সময় চালক নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে দাঁড়ানো লোরেট ট্রাক্টর গাড়িটির পিছনে ধাক্কা দেয়।
গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় ৫ জনকে ঈশ্বরদী হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে চিকিৎসক দু’জনকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। বাকি তিনজন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন।
খবর পেয়ে হাইওয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থল থেকে লোরেট ট্রাক্টর ও মাইক্রোবাসটি থানা হেফাজতে নেয়। এ ঘটনায় আইনগত ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের বিষয়টি প্রক্রিয়াধীন রয়েছে।

Love love this idea! I would like to try this with our high school students. They are reluctant readers so I thought I would challenge them with this! There are over 1500 students, most of them are in China but the teachers are in different time zones. Im my self a librarian stuck in Indonesia.
